Oct. 2009: Three-Level IGBT modules
Initially Mitsubishi did not plan to promote the three-level inverter modules, which they were already manufacturing
for a Japanese customer. But regarding the growing demand for those powerful inverter type the marketing department decided to launch these special IGBT modules suitable for multi level inverters also worldwide.

Application focus for this new product family is seen in the field of uninterruptable power supplies (UPS), solar invertrs and motor control.
