The
hybrid gate driver of the well know VLA series allows very compact designs
grace to the directly integrated DC-DC converter (14-16 Volt input,
to give gate signals with -8 and 16,5 V output). VLA539-01R is designed
for big IGBT (insulated gate bipolar transistor) modules up to 3600A,
1200V and 1700 Volt types.
Applications:
VLA539 is designed for all IGBT switching and gate amplifying applications
in industrial power use and inverters up to 10 kHz switching frequency
VLA539-01R features:
- protection against short circuit with variable fall time
- isolation up to Viso=4000V[rms] for 1 minute
- CMOS compatible input
- built-in isolated DC/DC converter for gate drive and voltage supply
Isahaya recommends VLA539-01R for the following IGBT types:
Vces
= 600V series up to 600A
Vces =1200V series up to 3600A
Vces =1700V series up to 3600A
