November 2007: MITSUBISHI expands production
of HV-parts
To obtain
better delivery
times, the management of Mitsubishi in Fukuoka / Japan has decided to establish
a new
production line for the following high voltage modules:
1700 V HV-IGBT: CMxxxx-34H, -34HA, -34HF, -34N
2500 V HV-IGBT: CMxxxx-50H
3300 V HV-IGBT: CMxxxx-66H, -66HA, -66HB
4500 V HV-IGBT: CMxxxx-90H
1700 V HV-Diode: RMxxxx-34S, -34F
2500 V HV-Diode: RMxxxx-50S
3300 V HV-Diode: RMxxxx-66S
4500 V HV-Diode: RMxxxx-90S
Beginning
in April 2008 Mitsubishi will have two production lines for those parts in
different factories.
Further more the new production line will use a fluxless soldering process
instead of flux soldering in the old
(still running) production.
Customers
will be delivered with modules from both production lines, except they disagree
in written form
to that step.
