June 2011: Mitsubishi expands the production capabilities
Starting December 2011 Mitsubishi will outsource the assembly of some common IGBT series to GEM Electronics (Haifei), a chinese company. Target is to raise the production capabilty and support the established manufacturing sites iMitsubishi plans a parallel production in the plants "IT Semicon Hikami", "IT Semicon Toyooka" and GEM Electronics.
Labeling of the modules :
The fFactory code for GEM is not yet decided.
"S" stands for IT Semicon Hikami (Japan), "T" is the code of IT Semicon Toyooka (Japan).
First samples and the correspinding reliability reports are expected for end of November 2011. They are available on request for customers, who are buying the concerned parts.
GEM Electronics is authorized to manufacture the following modules:
F-series (CM100DU-12F - CM200DU-12F)
U-series (CM100DU-12H - CM200DU-12H)
NFH-series (CM100DUS-12F - CM150DU-24NFH - CM200DU-12NFH)
NF-series (CM100DY-24NF - CM600DY-12NF)
A-series (CM100DY-24A - CM600DY-24A)
