produced by MITSUBISHI / POWEREX, the manufacturing of the gate driver circuits
like hybrid driver and
DC-DC converters has been outsourced to IDC ISAHAYA (Isahaya Electronics
Corporation) in year 2004.
We provide you with all parts related to IGBTs and power
electronics, like hybrid ICs and cuircuits for power
and signal supply.
Be aware, that for most of the parts listed below are circulating also
Powerex data sheets.
Powerex Inc. has decided to source the US market still by themselves,
whereas Mitsubishi will not sell those parts any more (in the rest of the
world outside USA). So for many Isahaya parts you will find a datasheet
of Isahaya and of Powerex, and sometimes even an old data sheet of
Mitsubishi. In fact, those are describing the same part all the time. For
new products we also use the Powerex datasheets, because the guys in
Youngwood are faster in releasing an english version of the specification.

How to read:
Isahaya M57959AL matches for Mitsubishi CM150DY-24H.
As a buffer Isahaya recommends for example 2SA1744 or 2SC4552 (NEC).
* guideline
concerning the versions of M57962:
M57962L-01R: auto
switch off in case of short cuircuit, restarts after 1-2ms (no latch).
M57962AL-01R: auto switch off in case of short cuircuit, has to be restartet
externally afterwards (latch).
M57962CL-01R: latch as in AL-version, additionally the option of changing
the soft shut down (by capacitor between pin 6 and 7)
** VLA503-01R is the follow-up type of M57962L-01(R) as well as M57962AL-01R. In year 2010 Isahaya launched a newer follow up type called VLA542-01R. Please note, that those parts are no drop-in replacements of each other, some applications will need another "Ctrip" capacitor value. Please refer in the datasheets in section 'application Example of high power module'.
How to read the
suffix: "-01" stands for Isahaya production (before it was Mitsubishi/Powerex),
"R" is the suffix for RoHS-conformity.
